- Just for today, ask each family member to make a paper Easter Egg for a neighbor. Discuss: “How many cards will we need to make if each one of us does an Easter Egg card?” Share which scripture passages might inspire your neighbor. Discuss who will be designing for which neighbor.
- Materials: pass out colored paper, crayons, scissors and pencils. Let’s get started: Invite them to draft their Easter Egg card in their learning journal. Help each other with spelling and design.
- Next: When all the cards are completed, ask everyone to gather for a prayer for your neighbors (encourage everyone to hold their hands over the cards as you pray).
- Secretly take the cards to your neighbors, ring their doorbell, and run to a spot where they won’t see you… Blessings to all!
