Sunday Reflections: Steadfast Forgiveness

Family meals… Family Learning… Family Sharing… Family Growing… Blessings!

Steadfast faith…
  • Around the table today ask each person why a steadfast faith matters? If our actions speak louder than words… then what does our steadfast faith say about us and our respect towards others? *Steadfast is… dependable, reliable, constant, unwavering and stays the course, follows through, develops good habits and keeps them in all areas of life.
  • Next discuss what steadfast faith looks like (being rooted and grounded in the Word throughout any season or circumstance, it’s a proven “fruit” over time). *Let everyone share without interruptions, explain that listeners respect those sharing by making eye contact!
  • Finally, share 1 Cor 15:58. Discuss the strength characteristics of a steadfast faith (trusting the truth of God’s Word over what the world/self understands as strength). Which characteristic of God’s steadfast faith do you practice and which do you need to witness more often?” *Let everyone choose this week’s “Steadfast” changer.
  • Closure: Take this opportunity to hold hands and ask someone to lead a prayer asking our Lord for His strength while we practice these new steadfast changers.
