Sunday Reflections: Our Citizenship

Family meals… Family Learning… Family Sharing… Family Growing… Blessings!

  • Around the table today ask each person why knowing that we are citizens of our Lord’s Kingdom matters? If our actions speak louder than words… then what do our attitudes, behaviors, and choices say about us and our respect towards others?
  • Next discuss Philippians 3:20 *Let everyone share without interruptions, explain that listeners respect those sharing by making eye contact!
  • Finally, share one attitude and one behavior changer that everyone can work on for the week. *Discuss what these changers would look like and sound like.
  • Closure: Take this opportunity to hold hands and ask someone to lead a prayer asking our Lord for His strength while we practice these new “Citizenship” changers.
