- First: Just for this month… Invite someone to be the family scribe. In their journal, ask them to make a bullet list of ideas for your family to do each day of July.
- Next: Remind them to open their journals to the next available page and date it. Don’t forget to have them label the top of the page with today’s learning topic/skill.
- Finally: Once your fun activities list is complete, ask your family scribe to re-read the activities that were chosen. Invite your family: “Now that we have gathered July activities for the month, choose 2-4 activities that you are excited about doing and sketch those activities in your journal. Remember to label the name of the activity.” * Their journal page can be divided into 1/4’s using a four square +.
