Family meals… Family Learning… Family Sharing… Family Growing… Blessings!

Saying prayers of blessings over family and friends.
  • Around the table today ask each person why saying prayers of blessings for our family and friends matter? If our actions speak louder than words… then what do our prayers for blessings upon others say about us and our respect towards others?
  • Next discuss the October prayer on the slide above. *Let everyone share without interruptions, explain that listeners respect those sharing by making eye contact!
  • Finally, share which blessing would help someone you know. *Let everyone choose their a blessing changer.
  • Closure: Take this opportunity to hold hands and ask someone to lead a prayer asking our Lord for His strength while we practice these new blessing prayers.
