  • Around the table today ask each person why prayers of thanksgiving matter? If our actions speak louder than words… then what do our prayers say about us and our respect towards others?
  • Next discuss how each of the prayers on the slide above vary (differences in what is being offered as a thanksgiving). *Let everyone share without interruptions, explain that listeners respect those sharing by making eye contact!
  • Finally, share which prayer to use for the next four days as a family prayer changer. Each night review how our Lord used their prayer with others during their day.
  • Closure: Take this opportunity to hold hands and ask someone to lead a prayer asking our Lord for His strength while we practice these thanksgiving prayers.
