IL’s Summer Reading: Booked for Success… MrsK’s Book Picks!

Yes.. oh yes… it’s summertime reading… Whether you have experienced heading to the public library for their summer reading programs or you have sweet memories of hot afternoons in the shade with the best adventure ever… or you have family summer reading retreats… this is the perfect season to grab a great read and a cold ice drink! All of my life I’ve been a summer reader. It all began with weekly swimming lessons, a stop at the public library for new reading discoveries/adventures and lunch at our local Burgerville. Once home it was time to gather our stacks of books and escape to our favorite reading space with our newest adventures. Late night reading with flashlights… unexpected page turning… and joyful anticipation for next week’s exploration. Happy reading explorations to all… MrsK
