Welcome to Pages Turned and our Silent Reading Book Club!
Pages Turned is located in Yacolt, WA. Our reading location is a cozy house of words, in which readers are gathering to read their current booked destination in the company of other readers. You will enjoy the comfort of being in various reading rooms or all gathered together in the living room surrounded by… of course books, tea items, PT treats from guest bakers and the quiet music that promises to enhance your weekly reading hour. Joining us will soon become your personal retreat. We look forward to your arrival… MrsK
*Your silent reading experience is designed to be a destination with no-pressure. Book titles are your choice. For those who would like to read a given author, the latest book in a series, or a common genre title… with a friend or another book club member MrsK’s Reading Room will be available for small groups of five. Tea and goodies will be offered by guest bakers.
*The main activity is enjoying an hour with your book. Depending on everyone’s agreement, a brief ending minutes will be a sharing about your booked destination, your “I Wonder” predictions and if you choose to share why that genre, author, or series is your cup of tea.
*Bring your physical book, e-reader, or audiobook with headphones. Optional extras include your own lap quilt, a cozy sweater, your reading journal or sketchbook/pencils, as well as a few dollars to buy a treat from our guest baker. All are welcomed to stay for socializing about your reading experience depending on your mood. The Pages Turned Bookshop will open after Silent Reading is completed.
